Some days the only thing between you and a productive workout is a lack of energy and motivation. So, here are 10 pick-me-ups to help revive your drive!

Have a fight song

1. As I’ve mentioned before, the right music can really motivate you to give that extra push during a workout. Find your go to song that excites you and makes you want to give it everything you’ve got.  I’m sure we’re all familiar with this one now, but for the sake of making an example…  Stronger by Kanye West

2. Drink plenty of water, proper hydration will give you the energy you need during a workout.

3. Don’t eat too close to a workout, but do have something about an hour before hand.

4. Fruits, nuts and half a whole wheat turkey sandwich are all suggested power snacks.

5. Depending on the activity, you may want to keep a sports drink or sports gel handy to keep you going.
