Increasing Your Endurance: How to Build Your Abilities

Hello everyone, I hope you enjoyed your Thanksgiving. If you’re feeling like you may have enjoyed yourself too much (maybe you had an extra helping of that stuffing). Some of you may just be returning from a holiday workout break; but some of you may be looking to kick start a new workout plan.

People often become discouraged during a new workout routine after they find themselves tired easily, or unable to complete a workout. Most people do struggle initially; but remember that if you put in enough time and effort you will be able to increase your exercise ability. One of the key factors in building endurance is pacing yourself.

Les Whitley of eHow explains this concept very well in his video How to Build Exercise Endurance. He explains that to build endurance you want to gradually increase the frequency, intensity and time of your workouts.

Take a look at the video and tell me what you think.

Everyone has to begin somewhere with their exercise regimen, remember to maintain a positive and proactive approach to the task at hand. Stick with your routine, give yourself time to improve, and continue to set endurance goals that will challenge you during every workout. When you face those challenges and succeed, it can be rewarding and inspire you to do more.
