A good exercise has its rewards, but it’s especially satisfying when your hard work doubles in benefits. On Saturday, December 10, the Baltimore Fit Body Boot Camp family aims to do just that, by reaching out to help someone in our community. Family and friends will be able to participate any of our hour long boot camp sessions (from 8 to 9 am) as we raise money in support of Animal Rights Incorporated.
Who Are Animal Rights Incorporated?
Defenders of Animal Rights Incorporated is a 35-year-old nonprofit organization that aims to protect animals from abuse. They have been running an animal shelter in Phoenix, Maryland since 1988; they state that 97% of animals entering their shelter are adopted — that’s over 26,000 animals and counting.
Roughly 3 – 4 million animals that go into animal shelters will be euthanized every year; according to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
Animal Rights Incorporated’s goal is to find a home for every animal they take in, they maintain that they do not euthanize any of the animals that go into their care.
How You Can Help
Fit Body Boot Camp regularly likes to help noble causes in our neighborhood. We are asking that all guests attending give a $20 donation; all proceeds will go to Defenders of Animal Rights Incorporated.
What a great way to help yourself, and others in the process! That’s something you can feel good about. I hope to see you, your family and friends next Saturday, December 10.
Committed To Your Fitness Success,
Jeff
