Hey, hope you had a great Holiday and are ready to reach your full fitness potential in 2011.
If you are like everyone you have probably already set some New Year Resolutions…
Most people start their resolutions this week… and most people end their resolutions before January is over.
Her is 5 Tips to help make this year different, to make this year, your year!
1. Set very specific goals.
You have to know what you want in order to achieve it. Just wanting to lose weight and tone up is not enough. You need to know exactly how much weight you want to lose and by when!
The more specific the better!
2. Know why you want to reach your goals.
Knowing why is going to give you the motivation to actually take action and do whatever it takes to reach your goals.
Everyone wants to “lose weight and tone up”. Ask yourself why that is important to you. Then ask again two to three more times! The deeper you peel that onion and be honest with yourself the more powerful the motivation will be to reach your goals!
3. Tell all of your friends, family and co-workers what your goals are and when you are going to reach them.
This will hold you accountable. Everytime you see one of them they will ask how you are doing and how much progress you have made.
The last thing you want to do is tell them that you quit! They will help hold you accountable.
4. You have to have a Deadline!
Without an end in sight it is easy to get off track and get distracted. I like to create mini goals 3-6 weeks apart. It helps me stay focused.
5. Just have more fun!
If you are having fun working out and exercising you are more likely to stick with it. It is always more fun to workout with a friend or training partner. Try to find someone with similar goals and make them your workout and accountability partner.
So if you don’t have a plan, your goals set, an accountability partner or a fun place to workout then call Jeff today at 443-226-6799 to set up your FREE New Years Resolution Consultation and get a FREE week of Boot Camp.
